West Coast Sporting Surfaces was subcontracted by the MG Group to resurface 27 netball courts and 4 practice bays, spanning 22,000m².

WCSS used Laykold Advantage 3 coat system, the popular surface of choice in netball as it is known for its durability and slip resistance technology.

The project received recognition at the 2025 Sport Group Conference, coming in as Runner Up in the Sports Group Laykold Feature Project Award for outstanding design and workmanship. Also at the Sports and Play Industry Association (SAPIA) awards, receiving runner up Commercial Sports Project category.

The upgraded netball facility will help improve participation in a fun, family-oriented and socially engaging atmosphere whilst nurturing the love for netball within the community.
