West Coast Sporting Surfaces was engaged by St. Peter’s Catholic Primary School to help revitalise their deteriorating basketball court which had major cracks throughout the base.
To breathe new life into this space, the team opted for the Laykold Advantage Float system as it fixes the common issue of moving substrates without having to do a complete rebuild of the base. The Laykold Advantage Float process bridges cracks or moving substrates on the base. It boasts a 21% force reduction as it provides a shock pad featuring over 3,000 recycled tennis balls, which is great for the environment and also your body.
The court itself was finished in Laykold Dark Blue and Laykold Burgundy which was chosen to match the school’s colours.
The resurfacing upgrade has provided quality sporting facilities for the students and transformed a worn-out, cracked court into a vibrant and functional space, setting the stage for countless hours of active play.
